Sine Wave is seeking someone passionate about virtual worlds, entertainment/gaming, user communities, brand communication, marketing, and customer service. You would join our community development team that is dedicated to building user excitement and relationships.
The ideal candidate is driven and creative, has in-depth experience on social media, possesses strong task management skills, and comes with a proven track record of successful community management and development efforts.
This is a part-time position, and open to remote workers.
The candidate will be expected to be available for work during our typical user hours (US/UK time).
Act as public-facing representative of Sinespace and communicate on behalf of the platform across multiple channels and at events
Contribute to the design and execution of community development programs for Sinespace
Support communication plans and channel management
Contribute to technical and creative writing projects such as blogs, patch notes, and copywriting.
Build relationships with community partners such as blogs, fan sites, influencers, and volunteers
Engage with users in-person and online events
Work closely with community, web, and development teams
Provide meaningful feedback on the community’s sentiment, concerns, and suggestions
Friendly and warm personality with attention to detail and willingness to go 'above and beyond' to help users
Strong written English skills
Experience with channel management, publishing calendars, reporting & analytics
Self-direction and dedication to finishing tasks - ability to meet deliverables amid a fast-paced environment
Prior experience in a community management related role (preferably within the virtual worlds, games and entertainment industries)
Degree in communication, marketing, or related field
Expertise with virtual worlds or sandbox games.
Existing strong personal network within related communities
Video production and/or graphic design experience
Experience with Unity engine and/or 3D design
Fluency with other languages
